Judith Igemokhai is a 31 years old lady residing in Kaduna state Nigeria. Judith started her social impact in 2017 during her Youth Service to her country and ever since then, she has been committed to creating positive change and improving lives. With a strong passion for community empowerment and sustainable development, Judith has devoted the best path of her career to making a meaningful impact in various areas of social change.

With a background in social work and community development for over 6 years, Judith possesses a deep understanding of the complex challenges faced by marginalized communities. She is currently running her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Counselling from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where she specialized in guidance and counseling and project management.

Throughout her career, Judith has worked closely with diverse populations, including underprivileged children/teenagers, refugees, schools, and individuals experiencing diverse challenges. She has collaborated with local nonprofits and grassroots organizations to design and implement innovative social programs aimed at addressing systemic barriers and promoting social inclusion.

In 2018, during her National Youth Service, she found ways to impact the local community where she served, in Makurdi, Benue State. She led a team and with her NYSC allowance, they gave out 200 notebooks, 15 school bags, and scholarships to children in need. In 2019, she gave out 400 notebooks and pens, school sandals, and bags.

During the lockdown, she mentored 50 teenagers via WhatsApp on volunteerism and connected each of them to volunteering platforms across Nigeria to enable teenagers to develop a selfless-oriented culture for nation-building. She has also paid for a session school for a university student in 2021, paid Waec fees, consistently mentored 20 teenagers for a year, and gave out 200 pads to girls in 2022. In 2023 she paid 5 JAMB fees, and she is still mentoring teenagers

Judith’s social impact work focuses on education and skills(social and technological ) development as key drivers of change. She firmly believes in the transformative power of education and equipping individuals with the necessary skills to break free from the cycle of poverty. By designing and implementing educational initiatives, and mentorship opportunities, Judith empowers individuals to build sustainable livelihoods break through life barriers, and achieve their full potential.

Judith’s dedication to social impact extends beyond her professional work. She actively volunteers with local community organizations, lending her skills and expertise to initiatives that address issues such as poverty alleviation, educational inclusion, and youth empowerment. She firmly believes in the power of collective action and collaboration to drive sustainable change.

In her free time, Judith enjoys exploring nature, exercising, meeting people, reading, traveling, and immersing herself in diverse cultural experiences. She finds inspiration in the resilience and strength of the communities she works with, fueling her determination to make a lasting difference.
