John Paul
Director, Leadership Insights Bootcamp (LIB)

Growing up in Ajegunle, Nigeria’s largest ghetto, Undie John Paul experienced firsthand the harsh realities where survival often took precedence over dreams. Violence was a norm, and education felt like a privilege. The loss of a friend to a street clash became a defining moment, fueling a determination to create change. Believing in the power of young people to rewrite their own stories, Undie John Paul has dedicated his career to empowering youth.

As the Programmes Coordinator, Guru Innovation Hub and Team Lead at Mind Reformers Network, he has spearheaded initiatives that equip young people with leadership, digital, and peacebuilding skills. His Leadership Insights Bootcamp has trained 1,000 young leaders, the Peacebuilding Project has directly impacted more than 8,000 young people across Africa, and the Girls in STEM Project has empowered 4,350 girls across Cross River State. Where communities lacked safe spaces for youth engagement, he created them. Where young people needed digital skills to compete, he provided them.

Beyond advocacy, Undie John Paul is also a Civil Engineer, working on-site with Malibu Engineering to design and construct structures that strengthen communities. Every brick laid and every foundation built serves as a reminder of the importance of constructing not just strong buildings, but a strong future for young people. His vision is clear: to see a Nigeria where every young person, regardless of their background, has access to education, leadership opportunities, and a future they can be proud of.
