Kehole Ideba Enya is a legal practitioner with a decade of post-call experience in legal practice and development work. He is dedicated to advancing social justice, protecting human rights, and ensuring access to justice for vulnerable populations. As a Legal Officer at Basic Rights Counsel Initiative (BRCI), a nonprofit committed to advocacy for the rights and welfare of indigent women and children, he provides free legal representation, supports victims of abuse, and drives policy reforms to strengthen human rights protections.

Beyond the courtroom, Kehole Ideba Enya has contributed to landmark legal reforms in Cross River State, Nigeria. Collaborating with his team, he played a key role in the passage of the Cross River State Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Law (2021), the Disability Rights Law (2021), and the review of the Cross River State Child Rights Law (2009), which led to the enactment of the Cross River State Child Rights Law (2023). He actively engages with government agencies, civil society organisations, and community stakeholders to advocate for systemic change, promote the rule of law, and create a more just and equitable legal system.

Through his work, Kehole Ideba Enya remains committed to transforming Nigeria’s justice system by advocating for access to justice, legal empowerment, and human rights initiatives that drive lasting impact.
