Michael Abdullahi is an education development practitioner with over 7years of transnational work and leadership experience in the nonprofit sector while interfacing between businesses, government, and NGOs in empowering young people to innovate and translate various forms of education into sustainable, social, and economic solutions.

Currently, Michael is the Community Engagement and Program Officer at Access for Rural Education Initiative (AREAi), where he designs and promotes community-led policy at the local and national level in education and supports the framework for all programs and projects by providing adequate stakeholders coordination and community engagement.

His contribution to education development has been recognized nationally and internationally with awards, grants, and fellowships which include the prestigious Nigerian Prize For Leadership 2021, Stop The Resurgence Grant Recipient 2021, Atlas Corps Fellowship Finalist 2021, 1 of 50 Global Innovators by the United Nations-SDSN 2020, Top 100 Global Impact Ambassador by Global Impact Network Inc 2020, Leading Change Institute Fellow 2020, just to mention a few. Michael is focusing on bridging the talent gap and producing the next generation of young leaders for human-centered development and global relevance.
