Tosin Ayodele Aniramu

Tosin Aniramu is a human rights activist with over five years of experience championing system change for women and persons with disabilities (PWDs). She has a keen interest in the intersection of human rights, social justice, and disability inclusion, which forms the focal point of her professional career. Tosin advocates for strategies, policies, and measures that ensure disability rights are accepted, promoted, and respected. She envisions becoming a social impact leader, adopting human rights-based approach to drive systemic and social reforms for the disability community.

At the Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) where she currently works, Tosin has led strategic projects that have significantly impacted the disability community, including Enhancing Civic Space for Persons with Disabilities, Enhancing Inclusive Governance in Imo State, and serving as a key team member on the Ending Barriers Against Niger-Deltans with Disabilities project.

Tosin is an alumna of the United States Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (US CYFI) and a Fellow of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) West Africa. She is also a member of the Association of Sign Language Interpreters of Nigeria (ASLIN), a YOUNGO member, and an alumna of Greenswitch Academy. Beyond her advocacy work, Tosin plays the violin and enjoys performing classical music.
