Uwakmfon Archibong Nsa has over three years of experience in civic leadership and women’s empowerment. She advocates for gender equality with an incredible passion for the personal growth and development of women and girls, especially those in rural communities in Nigeria.

Currently, Uwakmfon is the Executive Director of Flourish Heart Foundation, where she focuses on implementing projects on entrepreneurial skills and also advocates for gender-based violence prevention for women and girls, to shape the next generation of women who will be able to speak up for themselves, take up leadership positions, and contribute positively to economic growth.

She is a graduate of Technical Education from the University of Cross River State, Calabar.  Because of her immense contribution to women’s and girls’ empowerment, she was given TLA SDGs Award as one of the outstanding SDGs 5 advocates. Uwakmfon is motivated to become a transformational leadership expert. However, she is poised to create a society where women are financially stable through entrepreneurial skills.

Upon her completion of the Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Fellowship, Uwakmfon plans to advocate for an inclusive society for women and also implement a sustainable solution-focused project that targets women empowerment and gender-based violence prevention.
